Your
face is the first thing all people notice (well okay, not 'all' people)
and make up is the most essential part of a women's outlook. Clothes
and accessories are considered equally important, but your clothes
will not be doing you any favors without classy makeup and good skin
or even the illusion of it. You needn't colour yourself up with foundation,
though sadly, most of us do, and that's the classic mistake number
one.
Let's make one thing clear before we move on. Women who are too dolled
up are stereotyped as bimbos by men they are trying to impress. So
slow it down as the steadiest wins the race! If you want eye candy
in your life in no time, work your brush in a sassy way instead of
looking like a mud pie!
The
'bronze' effect
This season, the rule is to be as simple as possible. Trust us when
we say this, you do not want your man turning the other direction
when he sees the war-paint on your face melting away in this heat.
Who knows, he might just melt of embarrassment as well! So the rule
of thumb is simplicity: be simple, live simple, eat simple and sleep
simple! Face powder won't be doing you any favors this time around,
the make up you wear will be melting so no point in bothering .Choose
luminators (preferably Body Shop) instead of foundation (unless it's
a party you are going to). This season, gold dust is doing the talking,
focus on bronzers and play it safe with subtle, light and skin toned.
Think Chanel Perfecting Bronze Powder 01, it will give you a warm
complexion with a refreshing glow and will definitely make your hottie's
heart skip beats.
Brush
it up with blush-on
Please, cut down on the blush! On a serious note: it's not appealing
to look like a Dutch milk maid in this day and age, you'd rather come
across as modern and elegant. So do yourselves a big favor and get
rid of the hideous patches that look like a facial gone wrong more
than anything else. Go for Estee Lauder's Blush All Day or Tender
Blush, both will make your cheeks look naturally pink, toned down
and velvety, unless you want eye candy to stay as far away from you
as possible! Also try Maybelline Mineral Power Blush (Fresh Plum)
for Barbie-like cheeks (just so you know, men love Barbie, they just
don't admit it.)

Eyes are the windows to your soul and when the man you love gazes
into them, you want him to see the real (or better) you. It's important
to frame them perfectly. Applying a bit of eyeliner that matches the
colour of your clothing shall do the trick. Black eyeliner will never
be outdated, but try to apply it swiftly and slowly work it to the
top. The Amy Winehouse look is in this season, get away with using
tones of eyeliner but make sure you know how to apply it and where
to wear it as you don't want to look like the Corpse Bride with runny
mascara; the point is to stay away from the sun when your eyes are
heavily made up. Smokey eyes are off the beat this summer, make sure
you're not seen in black eye shadow all over your eyelids as you will
be called a fool if so. A piece of advice; kindly use waterproof eyeliner,
trust us, your life will be easier. Grab Etude's waterproof eyeliner
and eye pencil for that matter, this is easily available in all stores
but we'd recommend you to turn and run to Agha's only, for fresh makeup.

You could add a tinge of white right below your eyebrows so as to
make your eyes stand out. Also, focus on shimmer, (not too much,
please!) bronze and gold will definitely make you look nothing less

sticks will guide you into turning him on and making him want more!
Coloured shadows keep going in and out of fashion but you're better
off without them unless you're a pro at brushing colour on. It's
safer to stick to the more basic palette of gold, silver and the
likes. This summer, treat yourself by indulging in simple shades
of bronze, golden and browns; go for Revlon Colorstay Mineral Eyeshadow
(Agha's). its sad that Smashbox isn't available here(what's new)
but if you plan on bouncing out of the country, Smashbox it is for
eye makeup! As night falls, turn into a seductress with glitz and
glitter, the guy in your life will be on his knees in no time!.
So, when applying eye makeup next time, think of the options available
in front of you; either stick to the eyeliner and mascara for maximum
impact on your man, go for the subtle, toned down shades, pump it
up with glitter or continue with the tacky eyeshades and make him
throw up!
Sensuous lip!
Be a lipalicious babe with this season's happening shades. Pinks
are in this season so ladies, throw those browns and reds away!
Keep your lip shade subtle and soft. There's nothing sexier than
a woman's soft, delicate lips and if you try this out, we guarantee
the man is here to stay. Going peachy is not a bad idea, either.
As long as you are not using ridiculous bright shades, you are on
the safe side. Reese Witherspoon recently made a fashion statement
we all should be following; lipstick and moisturizing balm by Avon,
which, by the way isn't available in this country (what is?) Those
of you traveling this summer, do grab an Avon lipstick-blam or two
and those of you who aren't, well, ask your relatives or friends
to save your life! This season, Avon is what you need to hook your

Moving on, too much lip gloss makes you look like you just stepped
out of an oil factory. No offence guys, but most females apply lip
gloss like it's a drug they are addicted to. Please cut down or
does the poor chap really have to beg on his knees? Go fruity and
delicious with flavored lip balm available at Body Shop, you will
love it and so will he.
All you babes out there, keep it mellow and play it cool. The biggest
turn on for men is the "chilled out" attribute. This includes
applying makeup on a 'low scale', just so you couldn't read between
the lines. Going cheeky and cheap with makeup is a big no no, always
has been and will continue to be. After reading this, if you still
feel the man in your life will run away if you cut down on the 'cake',
then turn around ma'am, he is almost out the door.
