Foot in Mouth
Zoe Viccaji, Singer

1. What misconceptions do people have about you?
I don’t know if this is the case now, but in college people used to think I was unfriendly and a little snobbish. I think it’s because I didn’t smile too much when I was concentrating on work.

2. What is the worst rumor you have heard about yourself?
That I was cheating on someone. It’s the most hurtful thing that you can hear when your intentions are in the right place and they’re read wrongly.

3. Any lessons learnt the hard way?
It takes years to build someone’s trust and only a day to lose it. I snuck out with my family car when I was 15 and crashed it. Needless to say it was my parents who’s trust I had lost - it took me a while to regain their faith in me.

4. What’s the weirdest thing a fan has ever said to you?
I actually haven’t had anything too weird yet. I just got a long three page email with some one telling me all about themselves, their education, upbringing, all the jobs they had done in their life, the people they had dated, their strengths and weaknesses, and it then ended with… “and what about you?”

5. Tell us something no one knows about you?
There’s a reason why no one knows those things!

6. What drives you: money, fame or success?
A little bit of all three, but the most important driver for me is self-actualization. Without that I don’t think I’d be able to be content.

7. What do you fail to understand about the opposite sex?
It’s actually my own sex that I don’t understand much. Men seem pretty straight forward.

8. What is the most important relationship advice you can give?
This is something I heard from a good friend. A good relationship/marriage is made up of three elements: you, me, and you and me. Any time that you neglect any one of these, all three suffer.

9. When was the last time you kicked ass?
Street Fighter - a few weeks ago.

10. How do you unwind?
Watching some mindless series. At the moment I’m hooked on Fringe.

11. Have you ever done anything you shouldn’t have?
Shouldn’t have….. I usually justify things before I do them so they aren’t ‘should-nots’ anymore.

12.  Have you ever envied another person?
All the time. I usually try to work it to better myself and turn the envy into appreciation rather than something green and ugly.

13. What is the price of success?

Faith and hard work.
