Make-up,
which is an essential part of every fashionable woman's life, has
taken a complete U-turn and from natural and nude it is headed back
to the 70's disco ball era.
There was a time when sober eyes shaded with matte gold and conventional
colours like browns and beige's were the in thing; you had to be a
dare devil to be spotted sporting a loud color. But this autumn, the
muted washed out look has been replaced by the new sizzling look.
Colours like lime green, electric blue, neon and hot pink or fuchsia
have never looked better on the eyelids before, with a touch of shimmer
balancing out the entire look. Bling is still the trendiest thing
around! Add a li'l bling to your eyes, lips and cheeks and you've
got that perfect look you admired in vogue last week! Yes, we all
want to shamelessly copy Rihanna's new look!

Easy
access to a range of these new loud colours is available for a reasonable
400 to 500 rupees at any cosmetic store under famous labels like Maybelline,
Estee Lauder and Clinique. Lip gloss, has managed to make a revolutionary
comeback and colours like blood red, dazzling orange and pretty pinks
are being sold like hot cakes.
If you are in love with the bronzer, our advice would be to go with
the new cream bronze blush by MAC for those glowy cheeks. MAC is available
at EBCO at the Forum in Karachi and also various departmental stores
in Lahore. A whole new tone of funky colors in eyeliners and mascaras
are also in hot demand. The Body Shop, in Lahore and Karachi, should
be an interesting place to visit.
So if you had been playing it safe with the never-ending dull colors
for your look, my word to you would be to go out there and shop for
these sizzling colors and give yourself a new look this season!
