LAHORE: PPP leader Khalid Ahmad Kharal said on Wednesday that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was intimidating the press for his ulterior motives.
He visited The News Lahore office along with a PPP delegation and called on Editor Kamila Hyat to express complete solidarity and sympathy with The News and Daily Jang which were being harassed by the government functionaries, particularly the FIA.
The delegation lamented the FIA inspectors who conducted unwarranted raids on the offices of the Jang Group at Rawalpindi and termed it an attack by the federal government against the free press.
