Parineeti Chopra shares biggest hurdle from ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ shoot
Parineeti Chopra shone light on an untold story from her latest flick

Parineeti Chopra has given a shout out to her toughest moment on the sets of Amar Singh Chamkila.

In an Instaram post shared on April 16, she posted her best-loved akhada sequence from the movie, which rolled during the climax.

It featured co-star Diljit Dosanjh alongside the actress, where both reenacted an old clip of the actual Chamkila and his wife, Amarjot Kaur, from their time at a music arena in Punjab.

Scene-by-scene, the stars recreated every movement of the late artists as they sang Pehle Lalkare Naa, even capturing their facial expressions and body gestures correctly.

Noting this, Parineeti wrote, “Fact about me: I love it when directors give me a challenge! This was my favourite akhaada to recreate.”

“Thank you Imtiaz Ali sir for pushing me to do my absolute best in every scene,” she added, extending a shell of gratitude toward the film’s director.

Then, the star reposted the same video to her Instagram story for pointing out the large dose of blood and sweat required behind recreating a small footage.

She expressed, “Biggest challenge while shooting Chamkila… But we did it!”
