The Baltimore Ravens and star wide receiver Zay Flowers agreed Tuesday to a four-year $140 million contract extension that includes $108 million guaranteed.
The massive deal secures the two-time Pro Bowl selection as a foundational piece of the team’s offense for the foreseeable future.
A landmark contract
The extension pays Flowers an average $35 million per season, placing him among the four highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL.
General manager Eric DeCosta expressed full confidence in reaching an agreement earlier this offseason, stating, “The goal would be to get a long-term deal with him, if we can and I fully expect we will.”
Dominant on-field performance
Since being drafted 22nd overall in 2023, Flowers has topped Baltimore’s roster in both receptions and receiving yards in each of his three professional seasons.
He reached a new personal peak during the 2025 campaign, recording highs with 86 receptions for 1,211 yards while scoring six total touchdowns.
Committed to the franchise
The lucrative extension fulfills Flowers’ explicit desire to stay in Baltimore long term. When asked about his future with the organization earlier this offseason, Flowers made his strong feelings clear by stating, “I don’t want to go anywhere else.”
