During “The Ultimate Fighter 23,” UFC CEO Dana White faced a terrifying challenge when he sat perched on a narrow platform over 20 feet in the air.
Suspended directly over a dunk tank filled with freezing water, the fight promoter admitted he was completely terrified due to his fear of heights.
A bold high-stakes wager
After winning the show’s Coaches’ Challenge against rival Joanna Jedrzejczyk, strawweight fighter Claudia Gadelha was offered an extra challenge.
White offered to throw in an extra $5,000 bonus if she could dunk him. Once perched on top and panicking, White even tried to bribe Gadelha with $10,000 cash if she missed on purpose.

Gadelha did not even need her second or third shot. Displaying pinpoint accuracy, she struck the target cleanly on her very first throw. The target triggered instantly, dropping a yelling, helpless White straight into the ice-cold tank below to the absolute delight of the watching fighters and crew.
