Recently, the The SKIMS founder appeared in an interview, opening up about her difficulty managing the chronic condition.
What is Psoriasis?
Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that causes itchy, painful and scaly patches. Symptoms can enhance and then return during periods known as flare-ups.
1. Kardashian has lived with psoriasis for years
Kim has publicly discussed her psoriasis since at least 2016. Previously, the reality star shared some images, showing some flare-ups and discussed the effect of psoriasis in visible areas of her body, including her legs and face.
2. Her flare-ups have been painful
In 2024, Kardashian shared some videos showing a severe flare-up spreading across her leg, describing the intensity of her condition as painful and said she was unsure what had triggered it.
Her latest comments also highlighted the physical burden of managing recurring symptoms.
3. She once used plastic wrap overnight
While telling about the treatment of her disease, the 45-year-old told PEOPLE that she used to apply ointment and cover affected areas with plastic wrap overnight.
She stated the method assisted lock the ointment onto her skin but made sleeping and moving uncomfortable.

4. Psoriasis Has also affected her confidence
Kardashian has addressed that psoriasis made her feel insecure, particularly when flare-ups remain visible.

In 2026, Kardashian said she had started using Broc Shot, a broccoli-seed-based supplement, and reported that it helped her symptoms.
