US President Donald Trump turned 80 this year. His stamina and health remained a quiet frequent topic of discussions.

However, despite the harsh public scrutiny over his health issues, sleeping episodes, and hospital visits the Republican president was seen attending public events as per usual.

Trump insists he's still one of the most energetic figures on the world stage. While his unconventional lifestyle might make a traditional nutritionist blush, his relentless pace is undeniable.

Burgers, fried chicken, and a lot of diet coke

Trump's affinity for fast food is legendary. He has been photographed aboard his private jet, Trump Force One, enjoying a bucket of KFC.

Social media posts have shown him devouring McDonald's burgers and fries. According to former campaign advisors Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie, the former president's private plane was stocked with what they called "the four major food groups": McDonald's, Kentucky Fried Chicken, pizza, and Diet Coke.

The New York Times once reported that Trump consumed up to 12 cans of Diet Coke a day-so much so that he even had a button on his desk in the White House to summon a fresh can whenever he pleased.

Unlike many of his predecessors, who championed fitness and healthy living, Trump has publicly admitted that he isn't too fond of exercise, preferring instead to focus on what he calls the "energy" of his massive campaign rallies.

Sleep schedule

While most doctors recommend eight hours of rest per night, Trump's physician, Navy Doctor Ronny Jackson admits, "I would say he sleeps four to five hours a night. He's probably been like that his whole life. He's just one of those people who just does not require a lot of sleep."

The president said himself that he typically goes to bed at 1am and gets up at 5am to read newspapers, watch TV and eat.

He has previously called sleep a "finite resource," preferring to spend his "battery" on work rather than rest.

One minute of exercise

It's no secret that Trump isn't a fan of workouts. Ironically, while signing an order to bring back a presidential fitness award for children, he revealed: "I work out so much, like, about one minute a day, max. If I'm lucky."

It is worth noting that the president reportedly lost 20lbs between his first and second term in office. His medical report confirmed he had dropped from 244lbs to 224lbs.
