Drake’s security guard gunned down amid beef with Kendrick Lamar

Drake’s security guard was reportedly shot outside the rapper’s Toronto mansion amid his ongoing feud with fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar.

According to Page Six, the 48-year-old security guard was shot outside Drake’s $100 million property around 2:10 a.m. ET, with eye witnesses describing the incident as a ‘drive-by shooting’.

The Toronto Sun reported that the struck down guard was hit with a bullet in his upper chest, and was transported via ambulance to Sunnybrook Hospital where he underwent a surgery. There is no immediate danger to the man’s life.

Meanwhile, police officials did not confirm whether the God’s Plan hit-maker was present in the house when the shooting occurred. It is pertinent to note that the property has been cordoned off with yellow tape, with Toronto Police remaining on the scene till day break.

The horrific shooting incident comes hot on the heels on Drake’s ongoing beef with Kendrick Lamar; the two rappers have released back-to-back diss tracks in the last week, with Lamar accusing Drake of hiding a daughter in his track Meet the Grahams, and Drake hitting back with a caption on Instagram.

Lamar then accused Drake of being a pedophile in another diss track titled Not Like Us, to which Drake responded with his own track titled The Heart Part 6.
