Harry Potter castle in Ukraine aflame after deadly Russian strike: Watch


The Harry Potter castle in Ukrain catched fire after being hit during a deadly strike by Russia on Monday, April 29.

As reported by Telegraph, the Ukrainian law school, locally known as the ‘Harry Potter castle’ in the southern port of Odesa, was hit during a deadly strike by Russia.

According to the Odesa officials,the strike killed five people and injured at least 32, with 23 of them are still in the hospital.

According to Ukrainian media, former MP Serhiy Kivalov, who runs the academy, was also wounded in the strike.

The Spokesperson of the Ukrainian navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk, said the strike was conducted by an ‘Iskander-M ballistic missile’ with a cluster warhead.

In the footages obtained by several media outlet, the roof of the private law academy could be seen completely destroyed by the strike while the firefighters battled the flames.

The Mayor of Odesa, Hennadii Trukhanov also expressed his anger and frustration in a video, saying, “Monsters. Beasts. Savages. Scum. I don’t know what else to say. People are going for a walk by the sea, and they are shooting and killing.”
