Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly made a move that some perceive as an attempt to outshine the royal family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who will visit Nigeria in May for talks on the Invictus Games, but their trip consider as an attempt to "one-up" the Royal Family by a royal expert.

According to Charlotte Griffiths of the Mail on Sunday, the recent announcement made by HArry and Meghan has led to their UK relatives expressing scepticism or disapproval, with some reportedly "rolling their eyes" in response.

She told GB News: "Of course, they never try anything other than get a one-up on the Royal Family but I think what they're really doing is on paper, they're trying to celebrate 10 years of Invictus Games.

"Let's face it, the real reason is that they need content for Netflix, they want to appear as quasi-royals, they want to carry on conducting quasi-tours as if they are still members of the Royal Family.

"I think the fact they are going to a Commonwealth country when they describe the Commonwealth as Empire 2.0 is a little bit rich."

For the unversed Prince Harry will fly to London next week to deliver a reading at St. Paul's Cathedral on May 8, marking the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.
