King Charles seemed shocked as he uncovered his own portrait in the latest viral clip.
In the shared clip, Charles III can be seen taking the cover off from the new portrait and getting surprised by the bright red colors.
The new portrait of the royal family member has become the talk of the town and netizens can’t stop themselves from making memes on it.
A user wrote on X, “The Royal family is under intense scrutiny right now try to make him look relatable, noble, and not like an otherworldy demon please…The artist: ‘ok’”
Another one tweeted, “He scared himself by looking at his own painting. Priceless.”

Meanwhile, Alex Bury, the managing director of Grove Gallery in London, has explained the purpose of using “chaotic red background.”
According to Express UK, he said, “For me, the chaotic red background symbolises ongoing upheaval, while the butterfly signifies a transformative era...Much like Justin Mortimer’s controversial 1997 Queen portrait, this is also a somewhat non-traditional piece that seemingly captures the complex transition and uncertainty within the royal family.”
