Queen Camilla is ‘trying to hold back’ King Charles as the monarch struggles with his cancer treatment.

As per GB News, the Queen got candid about the King’s health and her role in helping him during the ordeal during a reception at the Buckingham Palace for the relaunch of the Wash Bags Project this week.

Talking at the reception, Queen Camilla shared that King Charles was ‘thrilled’ to return to his public facing royal duties; the monarch appeared for his first official public duty since his cancer diagnosis this week, on Tuesday, April 30, with a visit to a cancer charity.

Speaking about Charles’ return to his duties and his treatment progress with In Kind Direct’s Teresa Tideman, Queen Camilla said, “I think he was really thrilled to be out."

Camilla then playfully added, “I've been trying to hold him (King Charles) back,” when talking about how he has been doing in the past months.

The monarch has been a patron of Macmillan Cancer Support for more than 20 years now, and visited their treatment centre on Tuesday, where Queen Camilla also joined him.

King Charles’s return to public duties this week came after his doctor’s assured the Palace of positive progress in his cancer treatment, and gave him the ‘all-clear’ for a return to his royal duties.
