Prince William’s alleged mistress Rose Hanbury was spotted with her husband, for the first since rumours of her cheating with the Prince of Wales gained momentum a few months back.
InTouch Weekly on May 16 reported that Rose and her husband, David, 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley, were spotted at a service of dedication for the Order of the British Empire at the St. Paul’s Cathedral on Wednesday, May 15.
They were in the company of the royal family; the event was attended by both King Charles and Queen Camilla.
Both Rose and David cut a stylish figure at the service, with Rose dressed in a black and pink skirt with a matching jacket and hat. The two seemed to be in good spirits, with David even cracking a smile.
The outing is a first for the couple, who have kept a low profile since March, when rumours of an alleged affair between Rose and Prince William first took off after Stephen Colbert mused about them on The Late Show on March 12 while speculating William’s wife Kate Middleton’s absence.
“I’m afraid I’ve got some troubling news about England’s royal family. Internet sleuths are guessing that Kate’s absence may be related to her husband, and the future King of England, William, having an affair,” he had said, setting off a chain reaction.
The ensuing internet frenzy led to Rose’s lawyers dismissing the claims, and Kate coming clean about her absence; she announced that she had been diagnosed with cancer.
