King Charles never fails to charm fans with his warm gestures, and his recent interaction is a proof of it.

On Thursday, April 2, the British monarch, along with Queen Camilla, visited St Asaph Cathedral in North Wales to mark the Royal Maundy Service ahead of Easter.

As every year, cheerful fans had gathered outside the cathedral to greet the 77-year-old king.

However, one particular interaction caught special spotlight, becoming highlight of the day.

According to GB News, a charming moment unfolded following the royal service when a young girl was left blushing as Charles extended his hand in greeting.

Joined by the Queen, His Majesty, after wrapping up the traditional royal event, ventured out to greet the public outside the north Wales cathedral, when the sweet moment took place.

For those unfamiliar, Maundy Thursday, which is also known as Holy Thursday, is a Christian feast during Holy Week and marked the night of the Last Supper, when Jesus shared a meal with his disciples before his crucifixion. It is observed on the Thursday before Easter.

It is worth mentioning that this year's Royal Maundy Service marked a historic one as it was the first time when the event took place at St Asaph Cathedral in 800 years.
