Cynthia Erivo is fulfilling her role as Ariana Grande’s best friend.
The 39-year-old British actress and singer took to her official Instagram handle on Monday, August 17, to send an uplifting and heartfelt message to her “sweet sister” Grande after performing a concert with her in London over the weekend.
Alongside a carousel of glimpses from the show, Erivo wrote, “Ari, my sweet sister, my favorite person to sing with.”
“Thank you for inviting me to share your stage, singing 2 songs that represent such a massive part of our lives. This is what we do it for, for the love of the work and for all of the fans. I missed this. We missed this. And I wish I had more words, but to put it simply, I will never forget this night. Like a handprint on my heart,” she continued.
The Harriet actress added, “All my love, Cynthia.”

On Sunday, August 16, the Wicked co-stars thrilled the sold-out stadium at London’s O2 Arena with a surprise performance of the film’s anthem For Good, whose title is also tattooed on both of their palms.
During the performance, the duo then sat down on the stage and recreated Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand's iconic medley of Get Happy and Happy Days Are Here Again from 1963.
The heartwarming performance was filmed by fans and shared by Alyx Liu, Ariana’s hairstylist, and Capri Hakeem, Cynthia’s longtime best friend.
Grande and Erivo reunited onstage for the first time since performing together in NBC’s Wicked: One Wonderful Night on November 6.
