Tom Cruise has shared a heartfelt message after reuniting with Princess Kate and Prince William at the star-studded premiere of Digger in London.
Taking to the Instagram account on Tuesday, the Mission: Impossible star dropped a candid message after catching up with Prince William and Princess Kate at the world premiere of Cruise’s upcoming movie at the ODEON Luxe Leicester Square.
Sharing the snaps from the premiere, he captioned the post, “Tonight has been an absolute joy and an honor. Thank you to The Royal Family, the city of London, and to all in attendance of our official Royal Premiere of DIGGER! Alejandro, the cast, and I had so much fun.”
At the event, Cruise took the stage with the cast, he grabbed the mic and commended William and Kate for being there.
“We want to thank the royal highnesses for supporting this event, and just to tell them that we love them and we really appreciate what they do for the arts, for this country and for the world,” he said.
Cruise also thanked The Film and TV Charity before praising producer Mary Parent, whom he called “absolutely brilliant,” as well as his director.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were among those watching Cruise’s latest transformation, with the actor playing oil tycoon Digger Rockwell in Iñárritu’s satirical black comedy.

They shook hands and held conversation with each Digger cast member, including Riz Ahmed, John Goodman, Sandra Hüller, Michael Stuhlbarg and Jesse Plemons.

Digger is based on Cruise’s titular character, the “most powerful man in the world,” according to the film’s synopsis, as he “races to prove he is humanity’s savior before the disaster he unleashed destroys everything.”
The film opens in theaters on October 2 from Warner Bros. Pictures.
