Blake Lively rang in her 39th birthday last week with wishes from industry fellows, friends and family members, including husband, Ryan Reynolds.
However, the Age of Adaline actress is believed to have marked her yet another birthday without a single text from former bestfriend, Taylor Swift.
Blake and Taylor's years old friendship came to a dramatic end in 2024, just months after the It Ends With Us star filed a sexual harrasment lawsuit against her costar Justin Baldoni.
Taylor completely cut ties with the Gossip Girl alum after being subpoenaed by Justin's legal team and her text messages with Blake were also presented in the court.
Now that the bond between the 14-time Grammy winner and Ryan's wife has come to a tragic fall out, the insider exclusively told Rob Shuter, "Blake was absolutely hoping Taylor would reach out."
"A text. Flowers. Even two words: ‘Happy birthday.’ Nothing came. That silence said everything," added the insider.
The source further revealed that "Blake kept telling herself there was a path back."
"She thought time would cool everything down and Taylor would eventually remember how much they loved each other. The birthday changed that," added the insider.
The tipster went on to clarify that Taylor and Blake grew apart without an explosive fight or a dramatic final goodbye.
"Taylor has moved on," noted the source, adding, "Blake finally understands she cannot force Taylor back into her life."
