Barcelona claimed a thrilling 5-2 victory over Rayo Vallecano in the La Liga face-off on Monday, August 31, at Camp Nou stadium.
During the match the 19-year-old Spanish star scored twice to become the youngest player across the five leagues to reach 50 goals.
Yamal, who recently won the 2026 FIFA World Cup trophy with Spain after beating Argentina, scored his first goal almost three years ago on 8 October 2023, and Barça were away to Granada.
In less than three years he not only made it to the World Cup winning team but has also won three La Liga titles with Barcelona.

His new milestone celebration on Monday night became a little more special as his 21-year-old girlfriend was cheering for him from the stands.
Yamal added a romantic touch to his fiftieth goal celebration after blowing a kiss towards his girlfriend, who was wearing a personalized pair of jeans featuring his initial and Spain 2026 World Cup jersey No. 19.
The Spanish social media influencer also posted a picture wearing a simple black, fitted, short-sleeved t-shirt with faded black loose-fitting bottoms paired with dark flip-flop sandals.
García also posted Yamal’s picture from the field with the caption “mi 10 (my 10).” She also reposted FC Barcelona's post to praise Yamal’s superstar performance.

Yamal and García made their relationship public during the 2026 World Cup, and since then the couple have been in the headlines after being embroiled in different controversies.
However, the couple appeared to be unbothered by the different rumors linked to them as they continued to show support for each other online as well as during public appearances.
