Tiger Woods has made a major decision about his plea in a DUI case ahead of a court appearance.
According to The Guardian, the golf star is planning to change his not guilty plea in the DUI case linked to a rollover crash in Florida earlier this year.
The 50-year-old is scheduled to appear in Martin County circuit court at 8:30 am on Wednesday, September 2.
As per the court documents filed on Tuesday, Woods, who previously pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence with property damage and refusing to submit to a test, will appear for a change-of-plea hearing before judge Darren Steele.
However, the filing did not reveal any further details about the expected change or what plea Woods is intending.

Woods, who is regarded as the greatest golfer of his generation, was involved in a rollover crash in March near his Florida home in Jupiter Island.
The PGA Player of the Year for a record 11 times managed to crawl out of the vehicle unharmed and was arrested by Martin County Sheriff’s Office deputies, who claimed that Woods was carrying hydrocodone pills in his pocket.
As per the arrest affidavit, after issuing a sobriety test, deputies “observed several signs of impairment", including “bloodshot and glassy” eyes and “extremely dilated” pupils.
After the arrest and charges Woods decided to step away from the spotlight for some time to seek treatment.
He was granted permission to leave the US for rehab and underwent treatment at an inpatient treatment facility in Zurich, Switzerland.
He briefly returned to the US during his rehab stint on May 13 to support his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, amid her breast cancer treatment.
Notably, Woods previously survived a rollover crash in 2021 in California that nearly required the amputation of his leg. In 2017, he was arrested on DUI charges after being found asleep at the wheel of his car on Jupiter Island; he later pleaded guilty to reckless driving.
