Nicola Peltz gave husband Brooklyn Beckham a sweet shout-out as she accepted the Rising Star award at the Venice Film Festival, amid the ongoing rift with his family.
The Lola star accepted her 'Rising Star' award at the Venice Film Festival on Saturday, with husband Brooklyn helping her onto the podium.
She wore an elegant black dress and emerald and diamond earrings as she paid tribute to her husband and family, saying they are “the reason that I can reach to the stars.”
Her parents, Nelson and Claudia Peltz, and brother Bradley were there to support her, while Nelson battled the 30-degree heat by fanning himself and retreating indoors.
She said, “Hi everyone. I am normally more comfortable playing a character as an actor than standing in front of an audience, so please bear with me.”
Peltz added, “'Thank you so much for this immense honour. To receive an award at the Venice Film Festival is something I will carry with me for the rest of my career.”
She also paid tribute to her Prima co-star Faye Dunaway, who was honoured with a lifetime achievement award by Kineo at the ceremony.
Peltz shared, “Faye you have always been an inspiration to me and learning with you has been incredible.”
She expressed her love to family, “My family are my everything. My mum, dad, (brothers) Diesel and Brad and Brooklyn thank you. You always believe in me. To have your support is the reason I can reach to the stars in the first place.”

Peltz Beckham has been married to Brooklyn since April 2022 and is at the centre of the ongoing Beckham family feud, which has seen her husband distance himself from his family and accuse them of trying to separate the couple.
Notably, Nicola Peltz Beckham’s in-laws, Brooklyn’s parents, were absent from the major milestone amid the ongoing family estrangement.
