While it managed to spread its magic at the domestic box office, Practical Magic 2 faced overseas stumble following its release.
Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock starrer romantic fantasy film hit the big screen on September 10 and managed to mint $46 million gross collection in its opening weekend, $30 million of which came from the domestic office.
While the $16 million international collection seems to be a good start, it was slightly disappointing for the makers as Warner Bros. eyed around $18M-$23M opening overseas.
The movie performed particularly well in English-speaking countries, especially in the UK and Australia, where it grossed $3.9 million and $2.2 million respectively, as per Deadline.
