Alan Ritchson and his wife, Catherine Ritchson, have ended their marriage after nearly 20 years.
The now-estranged couple made the announcement through a joint Instagram post, announcing the separation after a mutual decision.
On Saturday, September 12th, Alan and Catherine said, "After twenty years together, Cat and I decided to end our marriage and continue alongside one another differently."
"We grew up together. We built a life and a family together. And we are raising three incredible boys who will always be the centre of our world," they continued.
Sharing their deeply personal experience, they shared "what the years meant" for the two, "the love and respect we will always share."
However, Alan and Catherine believed the "best gift" they both can give one another and their three sons is "friendship" and being amicable, grace and a commitment towards the co-parenting process.
