Harry Potter series has cast Rafe Spall as Arthur Weasley, Molly Hewitt-Richards as Moaning Myrtle, and Jasper Ambrose as Colin Creevey in a new string of cast additions.
The actors will join the ensemble of HBO's Season 2 of Harry Potter, with filming currently underway at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in the UK.
Spall will take up the recurring role played by Mark Williams in the Harry Potter franchise.
Arthur Weasely is the father of Harry's best pal Ron, and a pure-blood wizard who works at the Ministry of Magic.

Spall is following in the footsteps of his father, Timothy Spall in joining JK Rowling's wizarding universe, who played Peter Pettigrew in the original films.

Moreover, Hewitt-Richards will play the ghost who haunts the second-floor girls' bathroom at Hogwarts. Shirley Henderson portrayed Myrtle in the movies.

Ambrose [The Sheep Detectives] is set to play Creevey, who first appears in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and is frequently seen around the grounds of Hogwarts with a camera, fanboying over Potter himself.
They join other new additions for Season 2, including Kit Harington as Gilderoy Lockhart, Bonnie Hill as Ginny Weasley, Lenny Rush as Dobby, and Billy Barratt as Tom Riddle.
The long-term Harry Potter series cast include Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid.
Season 1 is written and executive produced by Francesca Gardiner, and the series is executive produced by author JK Rowling, Neil Blair, and Ruth Kenley-Letts of Brontë Film and TV, and David Heyman of Heyday Films.
Notably, Harry Potter Season 1 is scheduled to premiere on December 25, 2026.
