Taylor Swift has sparked excitement among fans after her official website’s archive appeared to mark 20 years of her music career, igniting rumours regarding a potential announcement related to her debut album.
The update comes ahead of the 20th anniversary of her self-titled debut album, which was launched on October 24, 2006.
Taking to micro-blogging site X (formerly Twitter), several fans shared screenshots, showing “20 years of Taylor Swift” graphic alongside the album’s original artwork.
Swift’s official website features “The Taylor Swift Archive,” which documents different stages of her career.
Described as the official guide for fans via her musical eras, the archive includes photographs, streaming links, career milestones and early music videos, including Tim McGraw, Teardrops on My Guitar, Our Song and Picture to Burn.
Previously, the Cruel Summer artist confirmed on her website that she had completely re-recorded her debut album, adding that she loved how the new version sounded.
Additionally, she suggested that the project could be launched at the correct time.
However, the website update has not been accompanied by an official announcement confirming the release of Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version).
With the album’s milestone anniversary approaching, several rumours continue to swirl whether the singer has something planned.
Currently, the archive update serves as a celebration of Swift’s two-decade journey in music, while leaving listeners waiting for further news.
