Caitlin Clark fans were left frustrated after Indiana Fever star wrapped up the regular season with career-worst game.
According to HITCH, Fever on Thursday, September 24 suffered an 86-66 defeat to the Minnesota Lynx, with Caitlin Clark producing the lowest-scoring performance of her career.
Clark managed just two points on 1-of-12 shooting in 18 minutes, while the Fever trailed 62-32 at half-time before eventually finishing sixth in the WNBA standings.

The result also changed Indiana's playoff path. Instead of potentially facing the Atlanta Dream, the Fever will travel to face the No. 3 seed when the postseason begins on Sunday, September 27.
Fans slam Caitlin Clark’s ‘unacceptable’ performance
Clark's performance quickly became the main talking point among Fever supporters, with several fans unhappy with the team's overall display.
One supporter criticised Indiana's effort and wrote, "You all need to learn shame. Unacceptable to play like this the last game of the season and at y'alls pay grade."
Another fan questioned the coaching, "Why don't you get a real coach like Lisa Bluder?"
The 20-point defeat also prompted a blunt assessment of the contest from another supporter, "This game was not as close as the score."
Slamming Clark one fan wrote, “Let's be honest. Cc is a defensive liability. She's too lazy on defense. She stands around and won't move or cut or come to the ball. She will never win playing like this."
One user penned, "Lousy game, they didn't come to play. They didn't come to win."
Throughout her WNBA career, Clark has established herself as a dependable offensive force for the Fever and one of the league's most consistent scorers. But on Thursday the Fever star finished with career lows in points (2), three-pointers (0), and field goal percentage (8.3%).
