Even Princess Kate has a habit of forgetting the occasional everyday essential.
The Princess of Wales leads a busy life as a mother of three and future Queen, so the occasional forgetful moment is hardly surprising.
On Wednesday, she visited West Sussex Minibus in Pulborough to highlight the community transport organisation supporting people with mobility challenges.
Princess Kate hopped on the minibus to pick up 94-year-old Stella Drewett, sitting beside her for a friendly chat.
Kate Middleton reveals the one thing she always forgets on busy days
During their conversation, Kate joked about the one thing she always forgets to bring on outings like this.
"Everyone always runs after me [shouting], 'You forgot your handbag,'" the brunette beauty laughed.
Kate’s handbag isn’t the only thing she tends to misplace.
She previously revealed to podcaster Giovanna Fletcher that she was often losing her phone.
"She told me that she was notoriously bad at keeping an eye on her phone," Giovanna told The Times.
Giovanna added, "She always loses her phone. All of her Christmas presents that year were related to her keeping track of her phone. It was all about her not losing her phone."
Why Princess Kate face cognitive challenges
Kate has previously spoken about cognitive challenges during her cancer treatment, including finding it difficult to read and focus.
During her June 2026 visit to The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, she shared how these difficulties affected her and how creative activities helped her cope.
"I don't know about you, but I didn't have the ability to read or really focus on anything," she told a patient.
"[Colouring] was my way of exploring interesting things and being able to do something that did not require an end product, or an end finished piece," she added.
Kate mentioned, "[It was] just a way of playing and losing yourself."
