Meghan Markle was reportedly spotted heading to a reformer Pilates class, offering a glimpse into her wellness routine.

As per The Sun, the Duchess of Sussex has reportedly been attending reformer Pilates sessions at the exclusive Soho Farmhouse’s Wellness Barn during her return to Britain.

A source close to the situation told the newspaper: "Meghan absolutely loves reformer pilates. It's a great way for her to unwind as well as make new friends in the area."

The insider added, "Meghan has become a regular at the classes inside the Wellness Barn and she's chatty and polite. Everyone in the classes gives her space. It's a very tranquil setting and no one wants to disturb her peace."

Reformer Pilates is often credited with reducing stress and promoting mental clarity, as well as strengthening muscles and improving posture.

Meghan Markle’s Pilates routine has long included the high-intensity, low-impact Megaformer machine created by Sebastien Lagree.

Unlike traditional mat Pilates, the workout uses the Megaformer to target individual muscle groups, something Meghan has said produces noticeable results quickly.

She has also incorporated traditional reformer Pilates into her routine, including sessions at the Wellness Barn.

Her wider wellness regimen combines Pilates with vinyasa and hot yoga, running and mindful eating, influenced in part by her mother Doria Ragland, a yoga instructor.

What got Meghan into Pilates?

Prince Harry's wife's love of Pilates was passed down by her mother Doria Ragland who once was a Pilates instructor.

In 2016, the former Suits actress told Best Health Magazine: "Yoga is my thing. My mom is a yoga instructor and I started doing mommy-and-me yoga with her when I was seven. I was very resistant as a kid, but she said, 'Flower, you will find your practice – just give it time.' In college, I started doing it more regularly."

The duchess was also recently spotted at The Three Horseshoes, an 18th-century pub near Burford, Oxfordshire, with Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi.

The Sussexes and their children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, relocated to the UK on August 26 for an “extended” stay.
