Amber Heard has shared a major update about her life after moving to Spain!

The actress, who left the US in 2023 following her defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp, gave a rare glimpse of her life on Instagram on Monday, October 5, after completing a half marathon.

"First half marathon, eskerrik asko Donoski! 21 kilometers in 1:39 min!!," she penned in the caption, alongside snaps of her competing in the running event.

Heard also shared photos from the experience on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, including one of her stretching near the water and another of herself approaching the finish line.

For the sporting event, the actress was dressed in a two-piece purple athletic set and had a handkerchief headband around her neck.

What rank did Amber Heard place in?

The 40-year-old actress ran the Medio Maratón Donostia San Sebastián Rural Kutxa on Sunday, October 4, and finished in 1:39:54, placing 95th of the 1,396 women who competed in the race in the Basque city.

A second major race in Spain

This was reportedly her second race after she ran a marathon in June.

"First race glow," she captioned a picture after finishing the overseas racing event earlier this year.

Heard has been living in Spain with her three children, daughter Oonagh Page, 5, and twins Ocean and Agnes, 1, whom she welcomed as a single mom.

Amber Heard divorce from Johnny Depp amid assault allegations

She was married to Depp from 2015 to 2017. They divorced amid domestic abuse allegations brought against Depp by Heard, in which he claimed he physically and verbally assaulted her during "violent and volatile" episodes while under the influence of drugs and alcohol. He denied all allegations.

Johnny Depp's lawsuit against Amber Heard's op-ed

Depp filed a $50 million lawsuit against Heard in 2019 over a 2018 Washington Post op-ed, in which she described her experiences as a domestic violence survivor.

While she never mentioned the Pirates of the Caribbean actor name, his legal team noted that Heard's referenced to their client were clear and claimed that the op-ed damaged Depp's career and reputation.

Defamation complaint

Heard then filed a $100 million countersuit against Depp over statements made by his legal team.

She claimed they defamed her by calling her allegations a hoax and orchestrated a "smear campaign" to paint her as a liar.

Following the high-profile trial in 2022, a jury found that Heard had defamed the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory star in the op-ed, and he was awarded $10.35 million in total damages.

Heard was also awarded $2 million in compensatory damages, but no punitive damages, for her defamation countersuit.

The ex-couple agreed to settle the case later in 2022, after the Aquaman actress appealed the verdict. She paid $1 million to Depp.
