Lucy Hale's hair transformation over the years: Actress makes bombshell confession

Lucy Hale says she is not "attached" to her hair and will undergo any transformation for a right role!

The actress has been experimenting with her hair since she was filming Pretty Little Liars and shared that her appearance does not define her and that she is okay with different colours and cuts, including going bald.

Hale has rocked a black bob, a lengthy ombre hairdo and even pink highlights over the years.

While talking to PEOPLE about her recent Grande Cosmetics campaign, Hale looked back on her string of hairstyles and noted that while she describes herself as a brunette, she will never hesitate to change it up for a role.

Currently, Hale has natural brunette colour with a length longer than her signature bob.

Discussing her hairstyle, she noted, "I committed a year ago to growing out my hair, so I'm gonna do it for a little bit and then maybe chop it," she explained. "I do miss having short hair."

Her natural hair turned out to be perfect for a movie she is about to film, as she revealed, "It's not announced yet, so I can't say what is it, but I'm going away to do a movie in a couple of weeks."

"And it's a very different kind of role for me, like more action-based, which is cool."

While spending nearly seven years playing Aria Montgomery on Pretty Little Liars, Hale was inspired to make her real hair equally attention-grabbing.

She famously sported a chin-length angled bob for her role, while also experimented with different styles outside the famous series.

She rocked rose gold hair at the 2018 Los Angeles of Truth or Dare.

Discussing that particular hairstyle, she previously noted, "I was doing a movie and then for the premiere of Truth or Dare, we just sprayed some pink spray in my hair."

"So, it washed out after this night, but it gave this really beautiful rose gold feel. I wanted to look like a gothic fairy! That was a lot of fun," she added.

She also rocked a jet back shoulder-length bob at the 2019 Michael Kors Fashion Show.

For her appearance at the 2019 Los Angeles premiere of The Unicorn, Hale turned heads in a blonde bob.
