The Milwaukee Brewers stunned the Los Angeles Dodgers once again winning National League Championship Series Game 3 by a final score of 6-2 on Wednesday night at Dodger Stadium.
Jackson Chourio launched a first-pitch home run to give the Brewers an early lead. Los Angeles fought back in the sixth inning when Will Smith doubled home two runs to put the Dodgers ahead 2-1.
Brewers take control late
Milwaukee answered right away in the seventh. Jake Bauers smashed a two-run homer and Garrett Mitchell followed with a solo shot of his own. The Brewers added another run in the eighth and one more in the ninth to seal the 6-2 victory.
Robert Gasser pitched five strong scoreless innings for the Brewers. Blake Snell started for the Dodgers and struck out nine but allowed four runs.
With the win, Milwaukee now leads the best-of-seven NLCS three games to none. Only one team in MLB history has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in a postseason series.
