Prince William has been warned of unpleasant consequences as he is refusing to show any flexibility for his estranged brother, Prince Harry.
The Prince of Wales and The Duke of Sussex have not been in contact with each other since Harry left the UK with his wife, Meghan Markle in 2020.
Their relationship begun getting frosty after Harry and Meghan made bombshell claims about life inside the Palace as working Royals, in their first-ever interview with the American host, Oprah Winfrey in 2021.
Harry and Meghan’s feud with senior Royals took a shocking turn after the release of the duke’s controversial memoir, Spare, in 2023.
Despite no official, public or private apology from the couple, King Charles and other members of the Royal Family, including Kate Middleton, are convincing William to reconcile with his brother.
However, the future has clearly refused to engage with Harry and his wife in any discussions unless they publicly apologies for the damage they cause to the Firm.
Now Palace insiders are claiming that Harry has been trying to apologize to his elder brother for the sake of their late mother, Princess Diana, but William is still “immovable”.
“Harry insists he’s tried to find every possible way to say that he’s sorry, even down to telling William’s aide that he wants a sit-down to apologise, and it hasn’t made a dent in things,” a source told Closer.
They went on to share, “Harry is convinced that William is still actively undermining him and Meghan with the media and within Hollywood circles and says he has every right to be angry about that.”
Giving William a subtle heads-up, the insider added, “Harry is known to be pretty impulsive, and the more wound up he gets, the more likely he is to follow through on his threats to make William regret this.”
“If he’s pushed hard enough, it’s very plausible that Harry could unleash another tell-all delving into his childhood and his relationship with his brother,” warned the Palace source.
“He’s not coming out saying that, but the possibility is looming, and it’s got a lot of people behind the palace walls pretty uncomfortable,” they claimed.
