Patrick Mahomes was elated to enter the history books with Tom Brady after the Kansas City Chiefs' 22-6 win against the Los Angeles Chargers.

According to HITCH, the 31-year-old recorded his 100th win as a quarterback in just 131 starts, a feat achieved only by the great Tom Brady.

Having played against the seven-time Super Bowl champion, Mahomes was excited to share the record with him.

Mahomes threw for 272 yards and had an interception against the Chargers.

It was not a flashy Mahomes performance, but in the end, he got the job done and bagged his 100th win as a Chiefs QB.

He was elated to tie Brady's record and spoke about how it felt to record his 100th win for the Chiefs.

Mahomes said, "It's always an honour to be in any conversation as far as winning football with him as the GOAT, he knows how to win football better than anyone. If you can be mentioned in any category with him it's special. As I have gone throughout my career, I have gotten better and better at winning, it's not always pretty.”

“I want to be able to throw three touchdowns, four touchdowns. I want to be able to put big stats, but when the defence is playing like they did today, you can't force it, and after I forced that one early in the game, I was just like, 'Hey, let's figure out the best way to win the football game,' and we were able to do that," he added.

Mahomes and Brady faced each other six times during their careers.

While Mahomes was able to win thrice in the regular season, Brady secured two big wins in the playoffs, including the Super Bowl win in 2021, which was the only time these two greats met in the biggest game of the football season.
