Top-ranked UFC contender Arman Tsarukyan delivered a masterclass performance in the main event of RAF 14, routing Dillon Danis with an explosive 10-0 technical fall.
Held at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas, the inaugural Real American Freestyle (RAF) Middleweight Crossover Championship saw Tsarukyan completely dictate the action from the opening whistle.
Total control and first-period finish
Tsarukyan left no room for Danis to establish any offense, rapidly scoring takedowns and executing high-amplitude throws. The Armenian star swiftly built an insurmountable point gap in the opening round, forcing the official stoppage via technical fall before the first period concluded.
Danis, who had exchanged tense insults with Tsarukyan in the pre-fight build-up, was unable to counter Tsarukyan’s unrelenting pace and dominant wrestling positional control.
Tensions boil over after stoppage
The rivalry did not conclude with the official referee stoppage. Immediately following the win, an agitated Tsarukyan stepped over Danis on the mat, further igniting the fierce animosity between both camps.
Security personnel and event officials promptly flooded the mat to separate both teams and keep the confrontation from escalating further.
What comes next for Tsarukyan
With his flawless victory, Tsarukyan claims the inaugural RAF middleweight crossover title, further solidifying his reputation as one of the premier crossover combat sport athletes.
Following his decisive triumph on the freestyle mat, Tsarukyan turns his focus back to his pursuit of championship gold inside the UFC Octagon.
