Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, the author noted, "Late in the process, I told Kim I should talk to [Hilton]."
"Kim checked and said Paris agreed, but I had to go through her publicist. That was unusual: with everybody else, Kim just sent a text."
The journalist shared that he "sent questions"; however, the interview was cancelled 17 times in four months, adding, "Eventually I thought the cancellations were more interesting than whatever she'd tell me."

Kim Kardashian reacts to Paris Hilton's snub
Kim did not take the news of Paris avoidance well, as Jonathan said, "Kim was so mad when I told her. It seemed to stir up some ancient irritation between them."
However, a source close to the socialite claimed that the interview request must "have gotten lost in the shuffle of Paris' incredibly hectic schedule".
Setting the record straight, the insider noted, "Kim is not mad. In fact, she and Paris are both involved in each other’s upcoming projects and continue to always support one another."
