Drake is celebrating his 40th birthday with style!

Earlier today, the Maid of Honour hitmaker stunned fans when he pictured arriving at Cipriani to attend his special bash in New York City.

For his extravagant celebrations, Drake ditched his signature brown fringe shawl look as he activated true gentleman spirit to mark his big day.

The ICEMAN crooner wore a sparkling black suit, which he paired with a white button-down shirt and matching bow tie.

After arriving at the venue, Drake was surprised by an epic performance delivered by none other than the Backstreet Boys.

In the viral footage, they were seen performing their iconic 1999 hit I Want It That Way together at his 40th birthday celebration.

For the unversed, the track was originally released by the Backstreet Boys nearly 17 years ago.

Moreover, more than 400 guests at Cipriani received a surprise return gift from Drake, as he gifted luxury designer items, including Chanel and Hermès handbags, to the attendees.

He also hosted an interactive game show with cash prizes ranging from tens of thousands up to $1 million.

Drake's milestone

Coinciding with his birthday weekend, the Recording Industry Association of America awarded him 30 new certifications, making him the first artist in history to surpass 350 million RIAA-certified units and extending his record to 18 Diamond plaques.

The Scorpion hitmaker also delivered a heartfelt speech, reflecting on the milestone, "Tonight isn't about a tour, an album release, or a bunch of videos we shot... It's about being alive, staying alive."

Before heading to Cipriani, Drake began his birthday celebrations with an intimate private party with close friends and family—including OVO signee Popcaan—at Toronto's iconic CN Tower, where he was surprised with a custom photo and memory collage.

2026 has been a fortunate year for the critically acclaimed rapper, as he dropped not one, not two, but three studio albums: Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour.
