A sequel to Bilal Abbas, Durefishan Saleem's 'Ishq Murshid' can be expected
The news about a potential Ishq Murshid season 2 has been doing rounds after the wrap of the successful first installment.
Ishq Murshid's finale episode screened at Pakistani cinemas all over on May 3, 2023, leaving an indelible mark in the hearts of fans.
The main leads, Bilal Abbas Khan and Durefishan Saleem appeared in matching attires for the premier.
Writer Abdul Khaliq Khan in an interview with SAL Ahmed for his YouTube channel revealed the truth about Ishq Murshid’s forthcoming season
“Sometimes the story forces you to write about it and the same has happened with Ishq Murshid, the characters and the story forced me to create a fictional world about them. Ishq Murshid is my series of writings,” the writer said.
He continued, “I have conceived three stories, one has already been watched by the viewers. It was about a guy who faced difficulties to get his love.”
Abdul Khaliq remarked, “The second story is about a boy who will face the hurdles and obstacles for one of his very close blood relationships, he will give sacrifices for her happiness."
Producer Moomal Shunaid too hinted at a second season of the drama.
