King Charles and Kate Middleton’s respective cancer struggles have “forced them to think about what matters,” which is making them deal with the life-threatening disease very differently.

On April 25, 2024, it was revealed to that Your Majesty’s doctors are “sufficiently pleased” with his health recovery shown using treatment, and now he has even went on to resume public duties alongside Queen Camilla.

Meanwhile, Kensington Palace has not yet issued an official update on Kate Middleton’s progress since her diagnosis announcement on March 22 as it was decided that no “running commentary” shall be provided on this matter.

Present at the Sky News show on April 30, royal commentator Jack Royston explained the differences in these two personality’s take on cancer.

He said, “I think it’s probably forced them to really think about what matters. In the case of Prince William and Kate Middleton, I think part of what’s mattered has been to really focus on them as a family... children, being there, slowing down, and looking after themselves.”

“In King Charles’ case, it’s caused him to focus on being king. He’s almost done the exact opposite in that faced with such a terrifying diagnosis, I think it's really reminded him that what he actually wants to do is work,” the expert noted.
