King Charles has continued his cancer treatment after officially returning to royal duties.

On Tuesday, April 30, he drove to a specialist clinic called University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre in London as part of his first public engagement in months.

There, the Monarch spoke of resuming his cancer treatment right after his visit to the medical institute.

After one patient described her chemotherapy sessions to him, he responded by saying, “I’ve got to have my treatment this afternoon as well.”

This is for the first time that King Charles has brought out one of his remedy schedules in the open.

Before this, it was only known that he was receiving treatments, but the timing was never told to the public since it’s something very personal.

According to Independent, Queen Camilla was hand-in-hand with her husband as they met patients at the centre.

Both were seen smiling widely and waving to everyone while greeting their staff, which included the chairman and the chief executive as well.

King Charles sat with cancer sufferers individually to hear their stories and confine his own struggles.

This was done to raise awareness regarding the disease and talk about the importance of identifying it early on.
