SPOILER ALERT! 'House of Dragon' pulls off another shocking season 1 cameo

House of the Dragon season 2 has once again left its fans reeling with another season 1 surprise cameo.

After Milly Alcock's shocking return, fans were now treated to Paddy Considine's surprise comeback in season 2.

Considine, reprising his role as King Viserys I Targaryen, made a cameo in episode 6 of House of the Dragon season 2.

The character, who passed away in season 1, appeared to Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) in two haunting scenes.

Viserys first appeared sitting on the Iron Throne, holding the Valyrian steel sword Blackfyre and wearing his crown, confronted Daemon for not supporting him during his reign and for referring to his deceased son as "heir for a day".

While in a second appearance, Viserys was seen weeping over the body of his wife, Queen Aemma Targaryen, expressing his anger over Daemon's lack of support after her death.

Prior to this, Milly Alcock made a surprise comeback by reprising her role as young Rhaenyra Targaryen in season 2.

House of the Dragon has been garnering praise for its amazing storytelling and unexpected plot twists, and these surprise cameos are only adding to the show's excitement and suspense.

The second last episode of House of the Dragon season 2 will premiere on July 28, followed by the season finale on August 4.
