Twisters costar Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones and director Lee Isaac Chung shared a shocking insight about the film’s ending.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Powell, Edgar-Jones and Chung that they intentionally scrapped a kiss scene between leads at the end of movie.

"I'm taking a little offense that they didn't want to use it. Maybe it's just my abilities, I don't know," Powell, , who plays social media star Tyler, joked about scrapping the smoochy scene.

Meanwhile Chung explained, “I actually tried the kiss, and it was very polarizing — and it's not because of their performance of the kiss.”

“This [no-kiss shot] was the other option that I had filmed on the day, and I got to say, 'I like it better. I think it's a better ending,’” he added.

Edgar-Jones, who plays retired tornado-chaser Kate, agreed with Chung's decision, stating "It felt nice and refreshing to not have to end up on that beat because what you're ending it on is two individuals who are so equal in their love and interest and intelligence and understanding of weather.”

Chung further noted that omitting the kissing scene gave Kate a bigger purpose in the film.

Twisters is now playing in cinemas.
