Rumors of a live-action remake of Disney's Tangled are speculating from past few months, and many fans have been suggesting their dream casting. 

Now, Zachary Levi has also jumped on the bandwagon to share his pick for the role of Flynn Rider.

Levi, who lent his voice to Rider in 2010's animated film has suggested the name of Timothée Chalamet to play the iconic character in a potential live-action remake.

"I mean, he's already getting every other job, but probably Timothée Chalamet?" Levi told Entertainment Tonight at the Los Angeles premiere of his new film Harold and the Purple Crayon on July 21, 2024.

He went on to express, "Unfortunately I feel like I'm a little old -- and that I don't know all of the younger actors that could be that guy.”

To note, Chalamet was recently seen in the musical film Wonka, and hi forthcoming biopic, A Complete Unknown, is also in production.

Levi also shared his idea for how he and Mandy Moore, the voice of Rapunzel, could still make an appearance in the possible remake.

"I think it would be fun if Mandy and I got to be Rapunzel's parents. I think that would be a really fun little cameo for us to pop in to,” Levi suggested.

While Disney has not officially announced a live-action retelling of Tangled, Zachary Levi suggestion about Timothée Chalamet has sparked excitement among fans.
