Iain Armitage, the star of the hit show Young Sheldon, recently reunited with his former cast members to support the upcoming spinoff series, Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage.
The highly anticipated spinoff has begun production, with the first episode taping on Thursday, July 25.
Armitage attended the taping and took to his Instagram account on Wednesday to share his excitement.
Alongside his photo, Armitage penned, “What an exciting honor to attend the first taping of Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage!! It’s always fun to be on the Warner Brothers lot- I grew up there!-and then to get the chance to see so many familiar faces that I love!”
He went on to share, “What a great evening and what a terrific show! I was so excited to be back and then I realized afterwards that I hardly took any pictures! Oops….never mind- you’ll get to see the show for yourself in October.”
“I want to tell you about my favorite scene but I’m probably not allowed- maybe ask me in October! Congratulations to everyone involved!” Armitage added.
Armitage reunited with former cast members, including Annie Potts, Emily Osment, and Montana Jordan, on the Warner Brothers lot.
Reagan Revord, another Young Sheldon alum, also attended the taping and shared photos from the night on Instagram.
Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage is set to premiere on October 17 on CBS, which follows the characters Georgie and Mandy as they navigate parenthood and marriage in Texas.
In the meantime, fans can stream Young Sheldon on Netflix and Max.
