Kylie Jenner was reportedly left “weeping” after explaining to her daughter Stormi why the Kardashians are famous, opening up about an emotional parenting moment.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder shared the moment on this week’s Big Bro with Kid Cudi podcast, telling Stormi that Keeping Up With The Kardashians launched the family’s fame in 2007—without mentioning Kim Kardashian’s sex tape.
“I sat her down, and I'm like, ‘We started a television show when I was a year older than you, and that's why we're all in this together,’” Jenner recalled.
Jenner went on to say, “[Stormi] was like, ‘Can I watch it?’ And I'm like, ‘Sure.’”
The Kardashians star went on to show Stormi, who she shares with ex Travis Scott along with son Aire, four, in an episode of the E! Series, which left her “weeping” unexpectedly.
“I was so emotional after,” Jenner told host Kid Cudi.
She mentioned, “I don't know what hit me, but I was weeping in my bed. I don't know why that happened to me.”
To note, Jenner was only nine when she made her debut on Keeping Up With The Kardashians alongside sisters Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, and Kendall.
Jenner grew up on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which ran on E! from 2007 to 2021, chronicling the family’s chaotic life as Kim launched her Hollywood career.
