North West’s latest announcement has triggered fierce online mockery.
On Friday, July 31, PEOPLE reported that the 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West abruptly axed her upcoming debut tour, just days before its opening scheduled for the first week of next month.
The tour titled Molly x North Kimokawaii Tour was supposed to be North’s co-headlining debut tour with 21-year-old rapper Molly Santana.
It was set to kicked off on August 5 in Dallas and run through August 27, with the final stop in Los Angeles, California.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, the eldest child of Kim and Kanye penned, “I was really excited to go on tour with Molly Santana. Sadly it isn’t happening anymore, but I have something special for u guys. See ya soon.”
Meanwhile, Molly Santana also released a statement, writing, “To everyone who bought tickets to the tour, I sincerely apologize. I know a lot of you have taken time out of your busy schedules and spent your hard earned money planning to be there."
“Nothing makes me more happy than the opportunity to share more amazing memories with you all and I hope to see you soon. You are all so greatly appreciated and please know that I never take your time or support lightly. I love y’all so much and I promise I will make this one up to you. Black punk otw & be right back,” she added
Fans mock North West over tour cancellation
Shortly after the update made its way to social media, fans began trolling North West mercilessly.
“THANK GOD,” commented one.
Another slammed, “Low ticket sales. Having famous parents does not mean the talent is there.”
