Kate Middleton and Prince William have broken their silence in first social media post after Princess Diana's brother, Earl Charles Spencer's shocking announcement.
Just a day after late Diana's brother shocked Royal fans with the announcement of a memoir on her life, ahead of her 30th death anniversary, Kensington Palace released a message from the future King and Queen.
Taking to the official account of The Prince and Princess of Wales on Wednesday, August 19, the couple took time out from their ongoing family holiday to mark World Photography Day.
Alongside a carousel of delightful photos clicked by young photographers of the Shine Camera Club at the Wimbledon 2026, was a message that read, “Celebrating the brilliant work of @shinecameraclub on World Photography Day, following a lovely meeting with the young photographers at Wimbledon.”
“Capturing the excitement of The Championships, these photographs showcase the creativity, talent and unique perspectives of a brilliant group of young photographers,” it added.
Prince William and Harry’s uncle – the ninth Earl of Spencer family announced the memoir titled Swan Song: Diana, My Sister on Tuesday, August 19.
As per Charles, the memoir – which is to set to be released in the UK next month, will let people understand Diana’s real personality.
"A one-off, dynamic character, full of love, charisma and self-doubt, who gave life a hell of a go, and left the world a far better place, despite exiting the stage while still so young," he said.
"I want to speak on Diana's behalf and do so in an openly positive way," added Charles.
Princess Diana died in August 1997 in a deadly car accident in Paris at 36.
Prince William and Harry were 15 and 12 when their beloved mother passed away.
