Meghan Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, has made her final decision as her daughter prepares to move back to the United Kingdom with Prince Harry and their two kids, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they would return to Britain with their two children later this month.
Notably, the 69-year-old social worker is said to have no plans to uproot her life on the West Coast, where she has an established circle of friends and is involved in the local yoga community.
Insiders close to TMZ say that Meghan's mother is not expected to join the Sussexes for their move across the Atlantic, instead choosing to remain close to the family's Californian base.
However, she is expected to continue spending time with Meghan, Harry and her grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, although it is not yet clear how those arrangements will work once the family is based in Britain.
So far, Doria Ragland has not officially reacted to the decision of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to relocate with their kids, who are also due to begin school in Britain in September.
King Charles' youngest son will stay in a private, non-royal property rather than a royal residence.
Meghan Markle also offered for an acting role in Britain.
For those unaware, Doria has remained one of the closest members of the Duchess' family throughout the Sussexes' relationship and life in California.
