The Norwegian Royal couple, Prince Haakon and Princess Mette-Marit celebrate personal milestone amid updates of King Harald’s deteriorating health.
Just a day after the Norwegian Palace issued an alarming health update on the 89-year-old monarch’s health – who was rushed to the National Hospital in Oslo last week, Crown Prince Haakon and his wife marked 25 years of togetherness with a moving portrait.
The official Instagram account of the Norwegian Royal family released a beaming portrait of the couple on Tuesday, August 24, to mark their silver jubilee.
Alongside the photo was a heartfelt wish, which read, “Congratulations on the silver wedding anniversary of the Crown Prince and Princess!”
“Today marks 25 years since Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit said yes to each other in Oslo Cathedral, August 25, 2001. 25 years of love, family and a life together” it added.
The photo featured Crown Princess in a butter yellow high-neck knit sweater, which she paired with a white skirt.
While Prince Haakon exuded elegance in a light button-up shirt with black pants.
