Jayden James has made his editorial debut with MAC Cosmetics.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline's son, a budding model and musician, has graced the over of MACzine, the beauty brand's relaunched digital publication.

Jayden James covers MACzine

On Tuesday, August 25, the 19-year-old was announced as the star for MAC, with the cover featuring a portrait of Jayden holding the MAC Fix + Setting Spray, alongside the headline, "Who the f--k is Jayden James?"

In the interview, Jayden was asked beauty questions, to which he replied, "Hydration always, but my girlfriend does my whole routine for me, so she's really the expert."

Breaking silence about the choosing Jayden, MAC Global Creative Director Nicola Formichetti said, "At MAC, we celebrate emerging talent and love following their creative journeys. Jayden's unique sensibility makes him the perfect MACzine cover star. He's also an incredible pianist, and I'm so excited to see what he does next."

Earlier this month, Jayden attended the MAC Cosmetics House of Glass party in Los Angeles on August 12, dressed in an all-black ensemble.

Jayden James makes his runway debut

Jayden recently spoke to Vogue about wanting to pursue a career in modelling after he and his older brother, Sean Preston, 20, made their runway debuts in the Vetements Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 during Paris Men’s Fashion Week.

While Britney Spears could not attend the show, she sent her sons flowers to show her support.

The pop icon and her sons have been in closer contact in recent months, after they encouraged their mother to check herself into a treatment facility after she pleaded guilty to driving under the influence in May.

About MACzine

MAC Cosmetics' digitally revived MACzine, the publication launched on January 29, 2026, featuring global star Doja Cat.

The original MACzine ran from 2009 to 2017 as a seasonal print-style manifesto for MAC's in-house artists, and the brand has now revived it under the guidance of Global Creative Director Nicola Formichetti.
